Description

Fusion Reactors use the same process that powers stars - fusing hydrogen atoms to release enormous energy. In MWarfare, that output is stored as Fuel Cells rather than sent to the live power grid. They continuously consume deuterium.

Total Output = FuelCellOutput * (1 + 0.05 * Energy Tech) * (1 + 0.10 * Fusion)
                          * (1 + 0.05 * Fusion)

Energy Technology Bonus

Each level of Energy Technology increases Fusion Reactor output by 5%.

Fusion Bonus

Each level of Fusion gives Fusion Reactor output:

  • +10% from Fusion's global energy-source bonus, and
  • +5% additional reactor-specific fuel-cell bonus.

Effective Fusion multiplier on Fusion Reactor output: (1 + 0.10 * Fusion) * (1 + 0.05 * Fusion)

Prerequisites

Before building a Fusion Reactor, you need:

  1. Deuterium Synthesizer Level 5 - To fuel the reactor
  2. Fusion Level 1 - Required to unlock Fusion Reactor construction

Storage Bonus

Fusion Reactors also increase Fuel Cell storage capacity.

  • Bonus per level scales at 1/10th of Metal Storage capacity at the same level.
  • This bonus stacks with the base Fuel Cell storage cap.

Strategy

When to Build

  • Any planet: Strong when you want more Fuel Cells
  • Mid-game: When deuterium production exceeds needs
  • Trade-heavy play: Fuel cells can be stockpiled and moved

Build Fusion Reactor when:

  1. You want higher fuel-cell generation
  2. Deuterium production exceeds consumption
  3. You want additional fuel-cell storage scaling

Optimization Tips

  1. Check deut balance - Ensure you produce more than you consume
  2. Pair with deuterium economy - Keep reactor fed
  3. Use solar/satellites for live power - Fusion does not power mines
  4. Leverage storage bonus - Higher levels increase capacity
