Description
Moons have no atmosphere and require specialized facilities for habitation. The Lunar Base creates a pressurized environment with life support systems, enabling construction of other lunar facilities like the Sensor Phalanx and Jump Gate.

How to Get a Moon
Moons are created from combat debris:
- Battle occurs at a planet
- Debris field forms from destroyed ships
- Chance of moon creation based on debris size
- Larger debris = higher moon chance
- Chance scales with debris size (uncapped)

Only moons can have:
- Sensor Phalanx - Detect enemy fleets
- Jump Gate - Instant fleet teleportation

- Fleets on moon are hidden from enemy Phalanx
- Jump Gate enables instant fleet movement
- Strategic military position
Strategy
Lunar Base Priority
- Build to level 1 immediately (enables building)
- Expand as needed for Phalanx and Jump Gate
- Higher levels only for more structures

- Shipyard (for defenses)
- Sensor Phalanx (intelligence)
- Jump Gate (mobility)
Cannot Be Demolished
Important: Lunar Base cannot be torn down!

- Plan moon layout carefully
- Takes up a building slot itself
