Combat in MWarfare is automatic and based on ship/defense statistics. Understanding battle mechanics is crucial for success.

Combat Overview

How Battles Work

  1. Attacker fleet arrives at target
  2. Combat begins automatically
  3. Rounds proceed until one side destroyed or 6 rounds pass
  4. Results calculated (loot, debris, losses)
  5. Surviving ships return home

Combat Rounds

  • Maximum 6 rounds per battle
  • Each round: all units fire once (plus rapidfire)
  • Shields regenerate between rounds
  • Battle ends when one side eliminated

Damage Calculation

Damage = Attack Power * (1 + Weapons Tech * 0.1)

Shield Absorption

Shield = Base Shield * (1 + Shielding Tech * 0.1)

Hull Points

Ship Hull = Base Hull
Defense Hull = Base Defense Hull * (1 + Defense Tech * 0.15)

Combat Outcome

Victory Conditions

  • Attacker wins: Defender completely destroyed
  • Defender wins: Attacker completely destroyed
  • Draw: Neither side eliminated after 6 rounds

Loot Calculation

Attacker can take up to 50% of defender's resources:

Max Loot = (Metal + Crystal + Deuterium) * 0.5
Actual Loot = min(Max Loot, Fleet Cargo Capacity)

Defense Technology protection: A portion of daily production is protected before loot is calculated.

Protected = Daily Production * 0.05 * Defense Technology Level
Lootable = max(0, Stored Resources - Protected)

Combat Reports

After battle, both sides receive reports showing:

  • Initial fleet compositions
  • Round-by-round combat log
  • Final losses
  • Loot taken (if attacker won)
  • Debris field created

Quick Tips

  1. Spy first - Never attack blind
  2. Calculate - Ensure profitable battle
  3. Send cargo - For loot collection
  4. Send recyclers - For debris
  5. Check defenses - Bombers for heavy defense
