Rapidfire allows certain units to fire multiple times per combat round against specific targets.


How Rapidfire Works

Mechanism

  1. Unit destroys target
  2. Check for rapidfire bonus
  3. If bonus exists, fire again
  4. Repeat until miss or no target

Rapidfire Value

The rapidfire number indicates chance to fire again:

  1. Kill Light Fighter (rapidfire 200)
  2. 99.5% chance to fire again
  3. Kill another Light Fighter
  4. Repeat until miss or no targets

A single Deathstar can destroy hundreds of Light Fighters in one round.

  1. Spy first: Know what you're facing
  2. Counter-build: Use ships with rapidfire advantage
  3. Avoid weaknesses: Don't send Cruisers vs Battlecruisers
