Resources

Resources are the foundation of your empire. Everything you build, research, or construct requires resources.


Primary Resources

Energy

Energy is special - it's not stored but generated and consumed in real-time. Mines and facilities require energy to operate.


Trading

Use the Exchange to trade resources and ships with other players using live M/C/D/F ratios.


Resource Production

Production Formula

Each mine level increases production. The basic formula:

Production = Base * Level * 1.1^Level * Temperature Modifier * Position Bonus * Universe Speed * Production Factor

Production Factors

Several factors affect resource production:

  1. Mine Level - Higher level = more production
  2. Temperature - Hotter planets boost crystal, colder planets boost deuterium
  3. Planet Position - Applies a bonus after temperature
  4. Energy - Insufficient energy reduces production (production factor)
  5. Universe Speed - Multiplier set by server

Storage

Resources have maximum storage limits. When storage is full:

  • Production continues but excess is lost
  • Build storage facilities to increase capacity

Capacity = 10,000 * floor(2.5 * e^(20 * Level / 33))

Resource Management Tips

  1. Never cap - Build storages before hitting limits
  2. Spend wisely - Don't let resources sit unused
  3. Balance production - Keep all resources flowing

  5. Fleetsave with cargo - Protect resources from raiders
  6. Defense Technology - Protect part of your daily production from raids
